| Nonsense! Nobody is as greedy as an American farmer. I guess what stands out to me in Paul Dales comments is the low job security a lot of workers face. It's very hard to commit to a large purchase requiring years of payments if you feel your income level could change at a moments notice. The factory I worked at was constantly hiring workers from other places where they were either laid off or the plant had closed and moved to a more lucrative site. I was amazed to hear how many businesses are leaving Iowa to go to Mexico,etc. There is no way we can support the level of spending our Gov't is doing. | |
