Earlton Ontario | Law here states that the Livestock will belong to the deed-holder....No matter the condition of the fence you are responsible to keep your own animals home.
I just went through this Friday where a neighbor had his goats in my oat field and wasn't bothered by it in the least after talking to him. So we're on our way with a trailer to load-em up and off to the sale barn.....and he locks his goats up real good.
Every year there are multiple beef animals, horses and goats (trespass animals) going through the sale barn. Proceeds go to pay for crop damages. | |
