Subject: Re: spraying glyphosate on beans (again!)

Central Nebraska
I have a hooded sprayer with a boom added to the back of it to spray between the hoods. I run 2 TXVS-6 under the hoods and a 8003EVS in the middles. Trying to put out 12.5-13 gallon at 35-40psi. Seems to do a good job for coverage, sometimes better than a true broadcast sprayer. As far as AMS goes, I use Synergize liquid. This year I have been using Staydown because all the wind. It is supposed replace AMS, and is a water conditioner, foam retardant, and drift control agent. I did a little test plot using one load with Synergize and one load with Staydown, couldn't tell the difference in what was killed.
