I haven't read the other responses, but doesn't someone in your area have a hi-boy type sprayer (Hagie or Miller) with a "pusher" liquid coulter bar? There's a few of them in this area. They'll clear 5-6' corn pretty easily.

But, one of the problems is still wet fields. Getting a hi-boy filled w/1000+ gal of 28% stuck out in the middle of a field can lead to a ruined day & corn field.
