Subject: RE: wetness-crop conditions

eastern south central KS
Flooding here up to a week ago, just came thru a week of hot and dry. Since it is wheat harvest we are fine with dry now as plenty of subsoil moisture will carry us for awhile. Corn just starting to shoot tassels. We are used to pollination at 95 degrees with a 30 mph wind, yes may hurt corn some but it the usual for here. Ten day forecast is hot and dry and that may present a problem. I agree with the gentleman who said I-70 is the dividing line.
