Subject: Re: Glypho and corn heights revisited

Southwest Illinois
We were rained out last year in a field with 70 avres to go. Corn was right at V6. Kept raining and didn't get in until V12. We were kind of scred so we ran drops but only on half of what we thought was weediest. We did take it to yield. The corn that was sprayed at either stage was virtually the same in yield. We did see that the corn we did not spray fell off about 30 bushels due to panicum. I guess if you don't have much weed pressure I would maybe not take the chance. If you have any weeds I would put on drops and go spraying.
