Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | I've never figured out why people shoot them in a trap, can get awfully stinky. Taking them for a swim in a canal or stock tank works a lot better for me. For a wire trap like that, wrap it with a piece of black plastic or an old blanket, they don't tend to 'shoot' in the dark.
Better yet, buy one of the solid plastic traps with only one door. Stand them up on end and fill with a garden hose. Never found a skunk yet that had gills. | |
