Give them some of your sweet corn instead. Never could figure out why anyone would want to ear field corn. Th worst sweet corn I've ever ate ( grocery store bought in Jan) was way better than any young field corn
If they're wanting to pick ears from a field around their house, plant them a few rows of sweet cornalong the edge. Landlords really appreciate that.
