DO NOT USE PVC FOR AIR LINES. This needs to be set up as a FAQ so we can just point to it every few months. I'll just quote Mark: For the five thousandth time, PVC is NOT acceptable for compressed gas. It may be rated 480 psi for water, but that's a whole different animal. It is an explosion hazard and has the potential to maim or I suppose even kill someone. If someone advises you to use it, I would respectfully suggest finding a new source for advice. |
