EC Indiana | Have 2 RT145s. Both Cummins 5.9 with 32x32 speed auto 4 with power shuttle. Both have approx 2000 hrs. We have put on about 1500 of them. Overall have been great. One of them had a speed sensor fail in the transmission. It also had an issue with the joystick control for the hydraulic remotes, but turned out to be a short, caused by previous owner doing some custom wiring. Ridiculously fuel efficient. At first, I was sceptical about the 32 speed transmission instead of the powershift. Now, I think I like the 32 speed better than a powershift.
I think RT145s and the RT130s are basically the same. You get into the other numbers, and the newer models and there are differences. Alot of people comment on the cab. They are not as roomy as one on an 8000 series deere, but they are pretty nice. Room for passenger, lunch box, thermos, trash can, 2 or three monitors, extra bag of seed, etc. Compared to any pre mid-90s cab, they are fantastic.
If you find one from a good home and have a good dealer as a resource, I like them. Would own another in orange, yellow or red. | |
