Central Missouri | You don't buy gold to protect against inflation. That isn't even in the equasion and hasn't been for the past 10 years and gold has tripled. Gold performs especially well in negative real interest rate environments which we are in and will be in as long as rates are kept close to zero which will be for a long time. The second reason to buy gold is to protect against bad govt policies. These days printing is trhe bad policy and that isn't gonna end because there is NO way to pay off the debt. | |
