East Prairie, MO | Well here's a partial list in no particular order, the turning radius isn't what you'd expect from this short of a tractor, everyone around here has trouble hooking up hydraulic hoses to it cause it seems the ports are just in an awkward spot. You can't leave a hydraulic lever in detent and then reach over and go straight to the opposite position without letting the lever stop in middle for a second (extremely frustrating) and the hydraulics don't have enough capacity to run a hypro pump and operate another function without stopping the pump, the cruise for the engine speed has no memory so it has to be reset everytime the tractor is shut off. The memories for the hydraulics don't just work after the tractor is shut off, they have to be reactivated by some button pushing (no big deal for me but I always have to give 2 way radio startup instructions for others.) The air conditioner will just barely keep you cool on a 95 degree day...I mean c'mon, this is a 400 hour tractor, it should have enough a/c! The gear indicator is blocked by the gearshift lever so you have to lean around to see it, the brilliant engineers decided that instead of putting that in the tachometer display like every other tractor that there should be a CLOCK in there instead and put the gear in a ridiculous spot. And the steps hang out to halfway in between the duals on 30" rows so that when you sidedress with it the corn doesn't have to be very tall at all to rub the step. There's probably other things I will remember later but you get the idea, the tractor says right on the dash "Made in England," that should have been enough for me to stay away... It's a tractor with a great engine and tranny that is very fuel efficient but it's just plain DORKY to operate and it's like whoever designed the features had never set foot in another tractor before.
