Northeast MO
I typically don't vent on here, but my wife has quit listening! We can't report the most impressive totals, 6" plus in the last week, but our problem is the areas west and north send all of their runoff right to us. Guess that is the price you pay for bottom ground. All of our replant corn, 400 acres is completely covered for the second time, and the beans we planted 10 days ago essentially all rotted, most of them were treated! Not sure how this will compare to 2008, but our July 1-10 planted beans made between 10 and 18 bushel, can't decide what to do, have to wait and see what the calendar says when it dries up. One hopeful thing, Army Corps says the Mississippi nor the Des Moines should hit high levels yet anyway, but I don't know why not?
