Maybe we should be worried about another war with the UK, with all these demands plus the fear of nationalization of a foreign co.? Lots of DC saber rattling.

Actually BP's ballance sheet is stronger than it's been for several years, with ~$8.33 billion working capital. What's the big deal paying out the same dividend they've paid for over a decade? History & the courts are on their side when it comes to spill costs (Exxon Valdez). BP is probably nearing a buy of a lifetime.
