If I remember correctly, this potato is not for baking, it will be used for paper, glue, etc. It was developed over 10 years ago, but the EU has had a ban on everything GMO. I can understand their hesitation for GMO foods, but this potato isn't intended for human consumption. I see its main strength as saving trees.
