We did a little direct cutting because the ground was to wet when the crop should have been swathed. Seed loss did not seem to bad. We like to get a jump on harvest by swathing so we can plant a second crop.
Yes the camera was on a long pole.
We use most of the canola crop on the farm for feed and fuel. There is a small biodiesel plant 2 hours away that will buy canola. Not sure what they are paying this year. Other than that not much of a market for canola in our area. | |
