Wyoming
What brand of corn are you guys having this trouble with? We used to always use 24d and banvel and not roundup and never had that trouble. We were always told not to spray the 24d when the corn was real tall so it didn't get down in the whorl, always sprayed it pretty small. Since using roundup corn we still use a generic dicamba mixed in to have some longer term weed control. Works well and haven't seen any difference in the corn where I went from spraying beets and hit the corn with straight roundup vs where I put in the dicamba. There were some late weeds there though and the hay that I stripped into last year came back in that spot but not the rest of the corn field where it got both. I am thinking last year what we had was clarity.

One thing to check we have found with all the generics, is read the label before you take it home. Some of the generics aren't always what you think and not all are labeled for corn even though they seem to be a generic of what you want.
