southern MN | Think I'm still getting a few drops, but: think the wind will get you real quick now, it picked up something strong here. Watch that.
The wind should dry off the leaves pretty good tho.
I don't know what is right; some of the best spray kills I ever get is when it starts misting on me while spraying, no rain actually follows, but like a couple days ago, those popcorn spritzes go through, drops are falling from the sky but dry up before dripping off leaves. I don't know if that is 'correct' but it sure smokes weeds the very few times that happens!
Perhaps as long as nothing is dripping off the leaves - damp but not soaked - it would be a good time?
Beware the wind gusts today tho, they are coming.
Add: I spray about 12.5 gallons, 20 is a little high for what the experts say for RUP (you'd be perfect for Liberty/ Ignite tho!) so might not want the extra moisture around. I guess RUP they prefer concentrated droplets sitting on the leaf; many other chemicals they prefer total saturation with even wet coverage of all surfaces.
