We deal with slugs here in Oregon much of the winter. We can actually bait slugs up to 5 or 6 times in a year. The only thing that works here is the bait. We have rain fast baits. The ai is mateldahyde. The bait paralyzes them then the heat of the day will kill them. They need to stay moist but when they can't hide they will dry up and die.
