Scott,

good luck with your sidedressing plan. I have done that on short corn (less than 12") but over that it gets really ugly. I am afraid you will have N running down the corn leaves into the whorl.....of course if you keep your guess row a perfect 30" from the neighboring row you will be fine....here in southeast PA that does not happen very often. just my 2 cents. Merlin
