East Grand Forks, MN | I'd say go in there as soon as you can and kill it with some Roundup, if you use Roundup (5#) go with 32 oz /ac or if you go with a 4# product go to 47 oz/ac. Throw in an AMS to allow the roundup to work better. Give it a week to 10 days, plow it, let it sit for awhile, go in before you plant and disk / cultivate it (remove any more weeds coming through) and then plant into it.
And then come next year, maybe get in there earlier than you normally would with your herbicide application just to get to the weeds while they are small. | |
