Subject: RE: anybody in the cornbelt not wet

Farmington IL
We are too wet. Not 2009 too wet but more like 2008 too wet. Crops are in and look to have a pretty good start all thing considered. The corn I planted back on april 12 to 15th is more than knee high and really doing well. The corn on corn show yellowing but impoving even with the continued wet weather. The beans are all emereged now and look to have good stands. Still have corn I need to spray. Just cant get it dry enough to get across some fields. A little corn to replant, maybe to beans. Havent even tried to make hay yet. Forecast for this weeks look wet. We are in much much much much better shape than this time last year. We are too wet but doing ok.
