tyler - will it do mapping too? to see any skips? how about auto boom shut off/on?
My gut reaction was to say no, but I decided to jump over to Outbacks's web site (www.outbackguidance.com) first.  Surprise!  I found the S-Lite will work with the AutoMate system

 I know, so what?

Quoting the web site:

The AutoMate allows you to manage up to 10 different sections of your boom and multiple planter sections. This automation results in drastic savings associated with application costs. The system recognizes both pre-defined applied zones and/or previous coverage areas. The AutoMate is designed for simple, hands-free operation. Simply set-up the unit and the system will automatically turn on and off sections when covering areas already applied. The system will also turn sections back on automatically on unapplied sections, eliminating skips.

As far as mapping, I would really doubt it because there is no display. And if you could plug your computer in and get it to work, I would venture other models and systems would be still probably be better suited.  I believe the S-Lite is designed as an entry level system.  If you want more functions you need to go to a more feature rich product.
