You're totally right about never getting to 100% because it takes too many generations but.... there's no way it's 95!! I have never seen this happen before in my area and it blows my mind. The only thing I can imagine is that smaller companies get a hot hybrid and REALLY cut the breeding process short so that they don't have pure inbreds. Or a really poor production process. The bigger companies are using doubled haploids now which would mean 100% purity every time.

The pics really dont' look like Gly to me - more like a PI. Did you have any company reps out to look at it? That hybrid is very common around here although I suppose it's a different production facility in Ontario
