We got the same rain a few hours before you did. Got 2.25 in 40 min where we were planting. At home we got 4 inches. We had a lot of lighting also. It's kinda scary seeing a transformer being hit 4-5 poles away.
A week ago we were planting beans and watched 2.5 inches get within 1/4 mile without a drop so I guess we were due.
boy this rain was not what we needed...4 inches.
