| I believe ams is "recomended" but not "required". But I would almost bet the farm if you have a problem with weed control one of the first things the chemical rep is going to ask if if you used ams or not. If not, he's going to teell you that's the problem. They're pretty good at finding something else to blame the problem on other that the failure of their product.
Years ago I had a problem with poor weed & grass control with Bicep sprayed over the top. Rep looked at it & said it hadn't had enough rain to incorporate the chemical so therefore wasn't the chemical's fault and he recomended it should have been incorporated with tillage. Took him to a second field with similiar weed control problems. He reiterates the problem being lack of rainfall to in incorporate the chemicals & that it would have been better if I had incorporated them with tillage. I told him I appreciated his " automated answer" but in this case the Bicep had been incorporated with a fied cultivator prior to planting. Guy just looked at me and walked to his car & left. | |
