Northeast Louisiana | I wouldn't wait too long before watering it in, but they say agrotain is supposed to hold it for about two weeks. Was the ground wet when you put it on? If so, I would go ahead and water it in. If it's dry it will hold longer.
Last year we had to fly all our N on. Worked fine. In fact, even though we sidedressed with liquid, most people around here fly on an additional 100 lbs at first tassel to give the corn an additional boost.
