Subject: Free Grain Marketing Workshops

For anyone who may be interested-I know there are several on here from Kansas, or close to Kansas.

•Tuesday, June 8, Wichita, KS. Sedgwick County Extension Center (21st and Ridge)
•Thursday, June 10, Great Bend, KS. Knights of Columbus Hall (723 Main Street)
•Monday, June 14, Concordia, KS. American Legion (506 Washington Steet)
•Thursday, June 17, Seneca, KS. American Legion (812 Main Street)

All events will start at 5 p.m. and last until approximately 8 p.m.

Don’t miss this opportunity for a free workshop covering all the basic grain marketing tools and terms as well as how to properly implement those tools. This is not a “Market Outlook” meeting-this is your chance for an education on how grain markets function, how the tools work, and what you need to know to fully utilize all of those available tools. A meal will also be provided at each event.

This workshop is made possible by a grant from the North Central Risk Management Education Center (http://www.ncrme.org). Pete Loewen, Tim Strunk, Matt Hines and Doug Biswell will be the presenters, bringing a vast experience in cash grain and futures markets, as well as grain marketing as a whole.
Space is limited and these will fill up quickly. Please RSVP soon by calling Tim Strunk at 866-341-6700 or e-mailing [email protected] so we can have an accurate count for the meals.
