Subject: RE: 25 questions about the economy.

S.C. Wisconsin
In my opinion this mess started about 20 some years ago with the attitude that the USA will quit producing tangible products and the country turned into service businesses and money traders. Wall street was dealing in hot air for many years making it seem like the economy was good when in fact it had no foundation. The skids on Wall street was greased for years by both parties. The idea was that we can import everything leading to huge trade deficits which we were told didn't make any difference because the exporting countries would reinvest in Wall Street. In my opinion the chicken finally came home to roost. So now everybody seems to blame the present and former president. The problem started in the 80's with policies that seem to work for the time but when nothing was changed it was to lead to failure at some point.
