Some questins if you don't mind, Brad:
Is a fungicide applied to garbonzo beans, peas, lentils or canola and when is it applied?
What types of fertilizers are applied and when to these crops?
Thanks.
Yes a fungicide (the one we used was called headline) is applied to garbanzo's with the assure II (grass herbicide) when the plants are six inches or so high to prevent ascochyta blight. Peas and lentils usually have no fungicide applied but they do have insecticide applied when the pods are forming.
No fertilizer applied on legumes.
Canola gets 150lb/a 39-0-0-7 and no fungicide. |
