example: US Navy has run nuclear subs for decades, I doubt they have ever had what would be considered a nuclear accident. System they use are called "triple safe" systems.
ONLY reason the oil folks do not use "triple safe" type systems is supposed cost.
Fact IS "triple safe" blowout prevention systems are a one time capital cost, thus amortized over several wells.
Govts will now require the afore, thus cos which make the afore components are in fact a smart bet.
Compressed Liquified Natural Gas cos ( pretty common in places like CA un place of diesel use ).
Cheaper by 25% than diesel and cleaner.
USA govt will likely require almost a 100% Change to said product over the next 5 years ( affect of the spill Dictates changes...That simple ).
cos in the sodium bicarbonate bus......especially those connected to supply the usa govt, can govt, and mex govt with the stuff now..
Probably 750 miles of coast that needs product broadcasted now...and there will another 3,500 miles of coast added before summer ends on shores of the afore 3 govts.
