Subject: Re: Corn market and Natural Gas

You say, "I WOULD HAVE to be a buyer of natural gas right here and right now based upon the price action." Question is, ARE you??? Its a pretty hard trigger to pull with stocks well above 5 year range and all the shale gas coming on-line and the manufacturing slow to come back. Gas looked cheap in May last year. That's when I bought my first contract. Problem was, it WAS NOT cheap until end of August. Thank goodness I've written calls against it ever since that lesson. Every month you roll forward you have to pay or buy far out and pay the carry now. I like the buy far out and write near calls approach. Hopefully this mild contango stays.
