I have a few questions:
Did yours have the spring-loaded hangers for the gangs? We are looking at converting our 235 but the spring-loaded gangs have a round shaft bolt instead of the square and we are having trouble sourcing wavy coulters with a small enough round hole. Now I'm wondering if the springs will be an issue since you mentioned adding weight, too.
Also, the spacers between the blades seem to be shaped to match the angle of the disk blades; did you have to do anything about that or did you start over with new ones?
We were thinking we would be ok with setting the gangs on the shallowest angle so we'd still get some levelling action but it doesn't look like it would be too hard to make them totally straight if we had too.
