A fork lift is a great equipment mover in tight quarters.

 

So is a skid steer.  I'm pretty sure the forklifts with the little hard tires can't get around too well out in a gravel drive or in a shed without a concrete floor. 

I added 2 extra hitches when building my bale spike.  This pretty much allows me to park almost anything with a hitch in really tight quarters as long as it isn't muddy or the snow isn't knee deep.
