Wow - You must have a strain resistant to glyphosate. In the 70s the quack was so bad there were fields in the area that you thought were planted to oats that weren't. I haven't seen a patch of quack in years. It's become endangered here.

Mainly we spray quackgrass whit glypho in a fall, after harvest. Sure some can hide under residue, but it sure feels like we can't kill root system. Leafs will turn dead in three weeks and it slowly comes back next year. Any good advise is welcome.

Pre harvest ain't really option here on big scale. It is no no here.....so we "try to avoid" pre harvest glyphosate. Yes, I know it does not make any sence, pre harvest is best way to do it.

Lukily we don't have much problem whit quack. It doesn't spreat out much whit no till system, but I sure would like to nail it finally (like that will ever happen!)
