North Central Iowa | I had to do that a few times when I was a custom applicator. It was a PIA but I was doing tall corn that was almost tasseled. I was using a Hagie STS 10 with drops, orfices, and 3/8 tubes. My problem was turning on the ends tubes would get caught on tall corn and turn triple nozzle bodies off. Also in tall corn tubes would be flipping UAN all over machine and windsheild. I think if you had small corn it may have been better because you could lift on the ends to turn around. We also only ran 60 ft of our boom. | |
