south central, KY | Flatlick farmer, we have had the same patterns you are talking about. We see the streaking worse looking at the rows from the side. We think that where we run NH3 at an angle, all the planter rows are crossing the NH3 at the same time, especially with auto steer. It will typically go the width of a field. When we went to a 20" applicator, we didn't notice anymore, because the 30" planter is crossing the NH3 marks at different times. | |
