So, would a .nez file need to have a datum related to it? Say, NAD83 UTM 15? Did you do yours in meters or degrees?

I believe they claim a 5 inch accuracy for vertical, but you may want to dig into the FAQ and see for yourself. I don't have any high accuracy data to compare it to - that's why I was asking you! :) According to this LiDAR data some of my land has about 9 inches of elevation change over a quarter mile in places.
