No, it did not dump seed on the ends, maybe lost a little when folding for transport, but usually filled when starting a new field.

Best part of the CIH planter is the row unit- no grease zerks, openers last longer, and the closing system works well in difficult conditions.

Just finished some plots tonight with my old 800, if you drive under 5 mph, you cannot tell that it was planted by a Cyclo.

BTW- never need graphite or the annual meter check

It's not current technology but was pretty good for a long time.
