Mid-Missouri | Go for the IVT. Don't worry about the 10K, its the first 200K you should be more concerned about! The 16 speed, although shifts smoothly, has several big gaps, considering it goes 0-26mph. The reverse gears are terrible, 1-3 slow, 4 way to fast. Backing into corners with our simple, light weight 16/31 kinze about kills our 8430 when it hits 4r. IVT is the solution. In three days, you will see it. May I also suggest, the left hand reverse, simply because I don't care for the shift pattern with the right hand reverser with the IVT. Also go for the foot throttle so you can really drive like a car ( although their foot throttle looks like a joke compared to the MT trackters). | |
