Subject: 930 platform on a 9550

Nevada, Iowa
Just kicking some ideas around before calling it a day. Looking to speed up bean harvest a little and wanting to update heads. Currently have an older 920 and it works fine except I am limited to about 3.8 mph max due to cutterbar capability. I started thinking about a 600 series twenty footer but it's more bucks than I want to spend and I would still be combining odd rows, 12 row 30 planter here. So I started think about a 930 with full finger auger. I'd be on matched rows and the availability of these 930's is much better than either the newer 920's or the 620's. Biggest disadvantage I can see is the ability to sneak down the road once in awhile with a 20 footer. The real question is - can the combine handle this load or will I be going 1 mph all day long? I grow mainly fuller season beans and have been using fungicides (often tougher straw). Any thoughts or experiences on this subject? Thanks
