Years ago, I built a "preplant ridge cleaner" with the flat disk Hinikers. It was all over the place. I installed that unit with the bent axles and the rubber tires on each side that squeezes the ridge on the front of the toolbar. (hugger?) On the rear, I installed the Orthmann guide discs. I just bolted them solid straight forward without the steering cylinder. That baby was tied to the ridge then !

I'm sure your toolbars will have limited space for such, but maybe an idea for you.

Ridge tillage is pretty easy, although it is aggravating on end rows, and with tracked grain carts.

Will your FMX guide a set of those Orthman discs on the rear of your planter? It is supposed to have the second brain in there to guide the machine. Prob cost another $39 for the feature.
