Subject: RE: Tractor hitch pin safety clip

Hennepin, IL
I used to subscribe to that theory 100%. A couple tractors even have a dedicated set of 7/16" wrenches. Was baling hay one time with one that didnt. Bearing caught fire on the baler, no wrenches to undo the jam nuts, looked around for a bottle of water, nothing. As I tried to work up the biggest pee I could muster, I looked again and found half a bottle of mountain dew wedged under the seat. Luckily that put it out. After that whole ordeal I started buying the locking pins. Theyre kinda spendy but awfully handy.
