NESD
I just bought a new 1620 this fall. Here are my thoughts. Would it be ok if the wheels steered at times? Yes. Normal operation in the field and an effort to not turn real sharp when loaded goes a long way. I probably notice the sideways draft on the tires when turning loaded on the yard. Kinda chews up the driveway some. I’m glad it doesn’t steer when backing up along the trailer or in the shed etc… I know you can lock out the steering on the Brent, however it is one more thing to remember to do. Previous cart was a Brent v1100. This 1620 almost seems more maneuverable and easier to see around than that was. Much easier to get that full semi load on the cart, definitely easier for the combine operator to fill. Rides smooth. I do think the Brent has a longer unload auger, this one works fine, a little more length wouldn’t hurt.
