| What does "can't rebuild" mean?
It needs both housings plus the center core plus the actuator assembly?
I've attached a quick search result I got that lists some other numbers to search.
As stated above, it's made by someone for Deere, probably the numbers are on the turbo.
Call Area Diesel in Carlinville IL and see what they have to say, C&C Surplus has good luck with them for the Deere stuff they send there.
I went through similar problems with a Cat C-18 a few months ago and FINALLY got it fixed vs a new (reman) OEM one that would have cost $4.500.
The main sticking point for ours is that I needed a new hot side housing and Garrett wasn't expected to make a production run until October and this was May of this year.
I found an aftermarket shop in Missouri that had the housing I needed in AirTec brand.
That shop is Rock Valley Truck in Versailles, MO. The owner knows his stuff. Ask for Laverne. He was a HUGE help.
