SE Indiana | I believe your mcv pressure switch is really a ground wire for the light on the dash. So that wire would have an electric charge. If the wire you found is the correct wire the light will come on if that wire is grounded to the frame.
I’m not sure on the fuel gauge but I believe that spade is to ensure your fuel tank is grounded to the frame so the fuel gauge can complete the electric circuit. | |
