I am going to ask a question .....

if the bluegrass and ryegrass are resistant to Select, what about the other grass-type herbicides:  Assure, Fusilade, Poast, etc.   I would presume they are a bit different, and I would expect that resistant is to Select only, but I don't know......  I would a herbicide expert and ask that question.... maybe your state Extension weed specialist would have insight into this.

I believe Pursuit would have some grass activity, and generic Pursuit is not expensive.  I expect generic Pursuit would be safe to use on clover.  Maybe a tank-mix of Assure or Fusilade tank-mixed with generic Pursuit....   ????   Run this idea by the expert that you might talk with.... why this would or would not work??? Maybe try this on a small plot initially?
