North west MN
I hear ya thinking of doing more of my own repairs. Had a chaffer fly loose on a combine that dealer had just put a new sieve frame in 50 hours earlier. One bolt had come loose and was gone and the shaking with the bolt gone destroyed the chaffer and other parts. The winter special cost over 40,000 then another 7,000 to fix it again when chaffer flopped for hours. Asked for some warrantee on the bill and they said they didn't touch the chaffer but I dont see how you can put the shoe frame on without removing and installing chaffer from the farme. I think they must get interrupted when installing parts with phone calls or texts and forget where they left off. Dont know if 200 or 250 dollars an hour will make any difference
