NE, NE | Different circumstance here as I’m just a full time hired man for a farm, not family, while farming later nights and weekends at home along with livestock as well. Boss use to invite the whole crew and families over for a supper, but I’ll be honest my wife and kids don’t get to see me unless passing through since I need to run so late at home during the season. The last thing I want to do is come back to my place of work and spend more time there. We now just get a nice gift card out to a nice restaurant to take my family to and maybe a gift card to the theater or bowling alley so we can spend some lost time as just our family and it’s more appreciated! If it was family it’d be a different story and would probably enjoy a get together with kids. | |
