NW Missouri | We used Schaeffer's and CIH oil interchangeably for several years depending on which one was cheaper when we needed more. The past few years, CIH has been quite a bit cheaper as you said. That's what we run for engine and hyd oil in the tractors and combine. Have a couple older tractors that we run cheaper hyd oil in. Run Mobile 1 in the semis I think (we have a good local truck mechanic that services our trucks. I use mobile 1 in the 12 quart box from walmart in my cars and change them every 10k miles whether they need it or not. No issues for many years doing that. | |
